One of the most powerful reminders in Scripture is that God can completely transform a life—and then use that life for a purpose far greater than we imagined.
Paul’s story is an incredible example. Before following Christ, Paul—then known as Saul—violently persecuted Christians and approved of their imprisonment and death. But after encountering Jesus, everything changed. ✝️
Paul eventually worked with his own hands as a tentmaker, alongside Aquila and Priscilla. His trade helped support him as he traveled, preached, planted churches, and shared the Gospel. 🧵⛺
That speaks to me because sometimes we separate business from ministry, work from faith, and earning a living from serving God. But they don’t necessarily have to be separate.
God can use the business you’re building. He can use the customers you serve. He can use the people you meet.He can use the difficult seasons that teach you patience and perseverance. And He can use the resources your work produces to accomplish something much bigger than the business itself. 🙌
Paul’s past didn’t disqualify him from having a future with God. His work didn’t prevent him from serving God either. God redeemed his life, gave him direction, and used both his hands and his testimony for a greater purpose.
So when we pray over our businesses, perhaps the prayer shouldn’t only be, “Lord, make this successful.”
Maybe it should also be:
“Lord, guide this business. Give me wisdom in every decision. Help me treat people with integrity. Bless the work of my hands, and if You prosper it, show me how to use what You give me to bless others and accomplish Your purpose.” 🙏
Your business may provide your income—but in God’s hands, it can also become a vehicle for generosity, service, relationships, and purpose.
Work hard. Walk in integrity. Trust His direction. And never underestimate what God can do with a willing heart and willing hands. ❤️✝️
